Job Overview: As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to load materials onto trucks, into storage facilities, or for transport within industrial or construction sites. Your primary objective will be to efficiently and safely maneuver the loader to handle materials such as gravel, sand, rocks, debris, or other construction materials according to project specifications and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate Loader Equipment: Proficiently operate front-end loaders, skid steers, or similar heavy equipment to move materials, load trucks, or transport materials around the worksite.

2. Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, vehicles, and containers using appropriate equipment and safety procedures.

3. Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation activities such as grading, leveling, and excavation as required by the project.

4. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, protocols, and regulations while operating heavy machinery and handling materials to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

5. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on equipment to ensure proper functionality and prevent downtime.

6. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with supervisors, coworkers, and other team members to coordinate work activities and ensure project objectives are met.

7. Quality Control: Monitor material quality and quantity to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.

8. Site Cleanup: Assist in general cleanup and maintenance of the work area, including removal of debris, clearing of obstacles, and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating loaders or similar heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Training in heavy equipment operation.
• Prior experience in construction, or related industries.
• Familiarity with basic mechanical principles and equipment maintenance procedures.

Working Conditions:

• Work is primarily conducted outdoors in various weather conditions.
• May involve exposure to loud noises, vibrations, and other hazards associated with heavy equipment operation.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
