Job Overview: As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to load materials onto trucks, into storage facilities, or for transport within industrial or construction sites. Your primary objective will be to efficiently and safely maneuver the loader to handle materials such as gravel, sand, rocks, debris, or other construction materials according to project specifications and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Loader Equipment: Proficiently operate front-end loaders, skid steers, or similar heavy equipment to move materials, load trucks, or transport materials around the worksite.
Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, vehicles, and containers using appropriate equipment and safety procedures.
Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation activities such as grading, leveling, and excavation as required by the project.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, protocols, and regulations while operating heavy machinery and handling materials to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on equipment to ensure proper functionality and prevent downtime.
